In Texas, we take the rodeo pretty seriously. In addition to other student accomplishments, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo also celebrates that artistic talents of area students and each year they display the top artwork representing each school district at the show.
I’m a proud mama!
Annie’s artwork was sent by her elementary school to the school district art display at the beginning of this year. She was one of only 10 students at her school whose rode0-themed artwork was selected and she received second place among all the first-graders in the district.
While her masterpiece wasn’t selected to represent our school district at the rodeo, it won first place in my heart and is proudly displayed in our home. I mean, just look at that cute stunt-rider cowgirl. The cuteness!
Recently, I found a fun way to take her precious painting with me where ever I go.
GetUncommon is an online company that offers many ready-made or customized cases for Apple products. They offer cases for the iPad and iPod Touch as well as the different models of iPhones and MacBooks. It took me just minutes to upload Annie’s art and select one of the cases for my specific iPhone. Then just a couple days later, I received the case in the mail. You can check out the process here on Youtube.
I picked the Black Bezel Deflector for my iPhone 4 because of it’s one-piece, snap-on, slim fit. I really liked the Clearly and Permafrost choices as well, but because you can see the Apple on the phone through the case with these selections, the logo would have hit square in the face of Annie’s cowgirl! They also have a more durable case option and really, all four cases looked great. You just need to pick which is best for your design and your lifestyle.
I love how the photo of her artwork wraps around the sides of the case and how sharp the image is. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it from people everywhere I go. I think this would make a great Mother’s Day present. Hint to my husband: I want another one featuring my son’s artwork so I can change them out!

This is fun! I would customize my phone with my blog logo — or an old drawing from my kid’s younger years. Thanks for the giveaway…
Vicki

Fun indeed. I’ve used uncommon before to get a gift for a friend with a custom image on it. I’d definitely love to have one myself. I’d probably use an image of my pets, as they are like my kids (although their artwork is seriously awful. 😉 )
I design something in Photoshop with my monogram.
I would love to use my daughter picture that she drew me for my birthday

I would put on my kids drawings on it. Great giveaway, thanks!
I use the Lifeproof case, so I’m unlikely to use this case. HOWEVER… If I win, I’ll have a math thing printed on the case and ask my husband to put his iPhone in it. Then I’ll take pictures and offer it as a giveaway (yes, using a giveaway to create a giveaway!).
Then I’ll see if others want to upload their own math goodies to get a groovy iphone case!
(p.s. I already follow you on twitter & pinterest – but thanks for the encouragement for the facebook fan page – I’d missed that one)
I would customize it with some of my sons art work. What a cool concept.

I would want to put my Qpon Junkie logo on my phone. It would be nice to put my daughter’s photo as well but just in case I ever lost that I wouldn’t want some one to have it.
