HALO Healthy Snacks by ProBar – Review and Giveaway

The kids went back to school this week and I’m (slowly) getting back into my fall/work routine. Since Annie is at school all day this year…I’ve got more time to get stuff done – which is good.

I’m thinking about rededicating myself to watching my weight and getting back to a healthful way of life. After losing about 20 pounds on MediFast last spring I went on Weight Watchers but didn’t stick to it. So while I haven’t gained it all back – I’m certainly not losing and I want to get back to business!

When I’m watching what I eat – it’s so much easier for me to have snacks handy and ready to go. One of the reasons why MediFast was successful for me was that I could have a protein bar and be done with it. Since I’m always running around with carpool, kids activities and work – it works well for me to have things I can grab and go.

I found these great bars by ProBar that are really tasty and truly a guilt-free snack. They are called HALO and are low in sugar, dairy free/Vegan, a good source of Omega 3 & 6 and made with 100 percent natural ingredients. HALOBars are certified organic and come in four different flavors: Rocky Road, Honey Graham, S’Mores (yes please!) and Nutty Marshmallow.

While I like them all – the Nutty Marshmallow is my favorite (with S’Mores being a close second!) They satisfy my sweet tooth but have also been a great morning snack as well. With only 150 calories…I don’t feel bad about grabbing one to eat in carpool line or while I’m waiting for Jackson at guitar lessons. And I feel good that they are made with organic oats and other natural ingredients. I want to try to limit the amount of processed foods I consume.

40 % Discount!
