Good Ideas: Fun with Candy Corn

Remember about a month ago when I told you I saw a cool candy corn wreath on the cover of Woman’s Day Magazine that I was going to make and share with you?

Yeah. That didn’t happen.

But fear not. If you’ve been up all night waiting for me to post something cool to make with candy corn, I’ve got something for you.

Today I was out shopping at a home decor store (the name of which rhymes with Smirklands) when I saw this little tree made with real branches and candy corn. Very cute.

All you have to do is go into your yard and get a dead tree branch/twig (if you don’t have any – come to my yard because we haven’t watered in awhile and have lots of dead stuff lying about.)
Hot glue candy corn to the ends. Tip: if you like to eat while you craft then be sure to keep a pile for eating separate from the pile of broken candy corn with hot glue dried to it. just saying.

Annie painted a pot and I propped up the branches with packaged candy corn inside the pot.

Note: some candy corn were harmed in the making of this craft…but not as many as with the Good Housekeeping wreath.
