Isn’t it Ironic?

As I was driving home from taking my husband to the airport, a rock flew into my windshield – leaving a huge crack, smack dab in the middle of the glass. While I know it’s not the end of the world and certainly not the worst thing that can happen – it does stink. You know how I loves me my 2002 Honda Odyssey – and when she hurts…well – I hurt.

But what made me laugh OUT LOUD for several minutes (seriously – I almost had to pull over because I was afraid I was going to pee in my pants) was this.

Guess where the rock that flew into my windshield came from?

Come on, guess!

The vehicle driving in front of me. Which was. A. Windshield repair truck!!! With rows of new, glass windshields all pretty and crack-free lined up in a plate holder type contraption.

What was he doing? Out drumming up new business? I didn’t get a close look…but I could imagine someone riding shotgun with a big ziplock bag of rocks and the driver shouting – “Ok, now!” every few minutes.

I mean…isn’t that ironic?!!!

I think I would have peed my pants. Seriously. I would have. I mean after five kids , bladder control isn't what it used to be.

i hear ya! it takes a heck of a lot less than irony to make me pee in my pants these days!!!!

See, now I would have thought of the pothole commercial on top of the obvious irony. So, I would have pooped in my pants because it scared me, peed in my pants from laughing so hard, coughed my lungs up since every time I laugh I cough, and then passed out from not being able to breathe!!! So hilarious, but no so good for femininity!
