So I’m really excited about the fact that I am going to the Mom 2.0 Summit in Houston in February. It’s a get together of moms mostly (but not entirely) who are engaged in social media marketing in some way – whether they blog or own a business/have a product.
I do both and I’m especially excited about meeting the panelists and keynote speaker, Gretchen Rubin who wrote The Happiness Project. Most of the panelists are writers themselves and I can’t wait to learn all I can. I really think this could be a big step towards achieving my 2010 goal/dream of getting published in a national publication.
One of the evenings they are hosting a “Mad Men” 50’s type party and so I “mad maned” myself (see photo above). I took the liberty of shaving off a couple of pounds. Don’t I look good?!
If you haven’t heard about the conference, you can check it out at www.mom2summit.com.
